Ludovic Deloche

Growing up in Cornas in the heart of the Shiraz region of Rhône Valley, Ludovic moved to the UK in 2002 and spent five years working in the wine industry in London. In 2007 he moved to Australia with a view to exploring New World Wine.

Ludovic was lucky to find himself working with Brigitte Hafner and James Broadway at the famous Melbourne wine bar, Gertrude St Enoteca. Combining his knowledge of the wine market in Europe and Australia, Ludovic started Halle aux Vins in 2007 with the mission of introducing Australia to the lesser known appellations of France. Ludovic continues to be inspired by the energy and passion of the Australian food and wine industry.

Lily Jaffres

Originally from Brittany, Lily spent a part of her life in the South West of France. Firstly to move closer to the best surf coast, as well to get a foothold in the place de Bordeaux - the world's major wine industry capital, famous for its first growth red wine. St Julien appellation is one of her favourites. She studied oenology for which the University of Bordeaux is renowned.

Enjoying travelling a lot and chasing good waves, wine become a work opportunity, exporting French wines for a while to the Middle East, before landing in Australia where Melbourne has become her new home. She enjoyed the vibrance of the city... still discovering and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities and beautiful vineyards Victoria has to offer.
